I recall someone asking us to share particularly memorable moments from Rivendell. One of my very favorites is from quite early on in my Rivendell days...I would guess the summer of 1997, possibly. (Ancient history!)
I recall my brother Radien (then known as Picante to most) scouring jewelry websites for an appropriate picture, then donning the handle "The One Ring" and rolling into the common room. He then fake-whispered (ah, remember those?) to everyone in the room: "Quick, pick me up before the others see!"
I'm not even sure he said anything more than that, but the resulting brawl quickly spilled out the window into Evernight Gardens (no fighting in the inn, after all) and eventually led to a war that encompassed most of Ravensdale and lasted for at least two months.
That's definitely one of my favorites. *G* Anyone else recall this?

I remember that *chuckle* Circe and Bronze's wedding took place around the same time.
Humm, fake whispers. Haven't thought of those in ages. I wonder if they still work? *g*

In fact, I've still brought it up to laugh about it every now and then, when freeform role-playing comes into a conversation long enough for Rivendell to receive mention.
