the last day of every month

Hey Everyone, Just to fill in the blanks here. This montly 'reunion' was developed by, and is hosted by, Lady Esther. I was going to send an email to this list after Chistmas, but Malakyte beat me to it. This is held the last day of every month in RDI on TTR. 3-7 pm Pacfic time. I know that this month is is New Year's Eve, but try to make it if you can. A few people have been leaving posts in the room, check it out and say howdy.

Monthly Reunions

For those who have not been in the Red Dragon Inn lately, this is to let you know that there is a plan.. a plan to meet on the last day of the month every month.

So set aside one evening (if possible) to come and see your old friends.

The next one will be December 31st from 3 to 7 pm.. though i don't know the timezone.

"Lost" Rivendell Pics

I realize that no one had posted on this board in a long time, and that there is an even greater chance that no one has check it. However, I'm going to post this here anyway.

So I'm sure everyone remembers when there used to be a directory of pictures that we had uploaded to Keltik's site ... and how that directory has since disappeared.

Well, I stumbled upon it the other night!! ~big grin~

I'm in the process now of gathering pics so that I can send them to the rightful owners. Most of the pics are obvious in who they belong to, however with some of them I can't remember who had what or what character.

If you know what old pics of yours or what old characters might be in the listing, please let me know so I can look for them and forward them on.

Life Takes Over

Time seems to have gotten away from me yet again. I have the best of intention to spend more time with friends from yesterday, but alas life itself gets in the way. Could I but ignore life to focus on friends I would, but then if life was ignored would there even be friends to focus on. That is something I must ponder as I wander. Wondering how life has changed us all.

I hope life and time find you all well and that only good changes have fallen to you. Then again life needs the good and the bad to be worth anything at all.

It seems Smat has closed RavensDale but he has not closed Evernight gardens. Do you know how to get in? Go through the list conferences link at the bottom of the page above the chat box.

If you don't want to do that we can continue through email. But it seems all our characters are doomed to roam the land of Faerie now since Rivendell is in limbo again.

And just when others were starting to come in again.

I guess it was not enough.

I also agree, the bots kept people from being able to post in the main room so that you could look back and reply to a previous post. Even long term role-plays were blocked and if they had gotten good might have generated more traffic.

Though he gave you away i think Seamus was a good idea because he would let everyone know who came in to check the room out. Thus anyone spotting an old friend could actually post. Thats how i got back in touch with a couple people.

Summer Solstice

Smat has suggested a Summer Solstice reunion for TTR. He said he might reopen the rooms then for it. I will post more as i hear it.

Hmm...

Seems like people are willing but giving up. Sad. I was just wondering who would come in. Orbdrin is now lurking about Rivendell tavern ready to hear stories if anyone is interested.

I know we all have our obligations ... work, school, family, etc. ... I too have fallen victim to real life. ~face palm~ It's sad to see our valiant effort come to a screeching halt ... and even more sad to see Rivendell once again covered in cobwebs and occupied by crickets.

Like many, my schedule is crazy & hectic at best. I'm working second shift until the end of the month, so I'm working at night and sleeping when most people are up and about. ~L~ However, I am available to anyone who would like to role play. Send me an email or message and maybe we can work something out.

OR, if you'd just prefer some good reading come into my room on TTR, Wolf Woods (rpr_wolfwoods), and watch the on-going RP in there. =)

I think Hume and Seamus GoodFarthing and Quiet Monk are doing more harm than good in Ravensdale... I mean, I leave a message, but it gets...buried. Granted, my message is just one line... but that's enough to ... catch someone's attention, isn't it... that singular glint of a juicy fruit wrapper, on a desolate island. Vanquished to oblivion by some recurring mist, hazi(e)d, quiet, and hooded.

For anyone interested, i have made my blogger account the journal for Malakyte Thorne, my second life character. She is very much as the Malakyte you may remember from TTR and other chat rooms.

By the way the adventures of Lord Fra and Dawn Arrasmith continue in the Evernight Gardens in Rivendell. Although the roleplay is slow i do invite anyone interested in playing to contact me or Lord Fra by mailbox or whisper.

I ask that you contact one of us before since the roleplay itself is in the realm of Faerie and not actually in Evernight Gardens. This way we may negotiate a way for your character to fit in.

As short lived as it was, it was good talking to you all again. I seem to be hanging out in TTR alone most days, keeping Masq refreshed as I can, though apparently I'm missing the busy times in the evening!

It was pleasant to get the emails and blog updates but they've all petered out now, have you all gone back to your other lives?

I notice that we all have a great looking web page, but not many have any information there. What do we need to do to set this up?
